The lights go out and a demonic rabbit in a robe appears to call out out an indistinct message. This director is a Garbage fan, so i made this slideshow. The rabbits position themselves around the room with slow, dreamlike movements. Filmed entirely in David Lynch’s Hollywood backyard, Rabbits revolves around fragmentary conversations between three rabbits that are intermittently interrupted by a laugh track. Rabbits is a surrealist film, and surrealism concerns the rejection of logic or reality. Rabbits is a 2002 series of eight short horror web films written and directed by David Lynch, although Lynch himself refers to it as a sitcom.It depicts three humanoid rabbits played by Scott Coffey, Laura Elena Harring and Naomi Watts in a room. "It's a film about rabbits" is more than enough in explaining the plot or content of the film. Directed by David Lynch.
I don't think David Lynch wanted viewers to attempt to make broad rational conclusions concerning the purpose or argument of the film. In a nameless city deluged by continuous rain, three rabbits live with a fearful mystery. With Scott Coffey, Rebekah Del Rio, Laura Harring, Naomi Watts.
Their disjointed conversations are interrupted by a laugh track. (Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire, Wild at Heart, Blue Velvet, Lost Higway) If you needed further proof that canned laughter is the single creepiest concept willed into existence.
